  • Dave S posted an update in the group Brain Tumor Advocate Network

I was diagnosed with Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma 7 years ago. My tumor was removed and had the 1p/19q deletions. I had 6 rounds of BCNU chemotherapy. The tumor stayed away for 6 years and is now slowly growing. My doctor is recommending radiation without chemo, but that seems wrong to me since this is a chemo-sensitive tumor. I am planning to get a second opinion from Duke. What other hospitals would you recommend as excellent in oligodendroglioma recurrence?
