The urgent need for independent patient advocacy became clear when We Heal founder Eric Drew faced one of the most aggressive cancers known—Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Diagnosed in 2002 and given less than a week to live, Eric realized firsthand how critical it is for patients to have access to information, support, and advanced treatment options. His journey led to the creation of We Heal, a global platform dedicated to empowering patients and transforming the way medical care is accessed.
