About The WeHeal Foundation

“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it.”

– Lou Holtz, Hall of Fame football coach

“The same is true about medical outcomes. The final outcome is largely determined by how you as a patient respond to your diagnosis, and how proactive you and your medical team are in locating and insisting on the optimal treatment for your case. In order to do this, you need to educate yourself about what those options are, and WeHeal is here to help!”
“When every medical center in the US said that nothing could be done for my “terminal” leukemia, it was my ability to crowd source a solution and find the optimal treatment that saved me! I now call this crowd sourcing ‘CrowdHealing’ and it is why I created WeHeal and our 600_ CrowdHealing communities. Everyone deserves to receive the best possible treatment for their illness, but many are not getting it, especially in the US which currently ranks 37th in the world for medical outcomes!”

Hello HIV Community! I myself was cured from a terminal leukemia through a stem cell transplant from umbilical cord blood, and I have been so hopeful that this would also be an option for the millions of people struggling with AIDS. Here is some important information I found.http://www.aidsmap.com/Bone-marrow-transplantation/page/1729552/

Yes the chemo and radiation necessary to do transplants is brutal and the costs can be a major obstacle, but if it was me suffering form HIV/AIDS, I would want to include this option in my arsenal of treatment possibilities! All possible treatments should be brought to the attention of all patients regardless!
