Wanted to share our experience combating breast cancer in the hope that it may be of help to others. Exactly a year and a half ago, my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Given her excellent health in every possible way you imagine she was in, this was a complete shocker at age 41. She had no genetic predisposition whatsoever. She ended up in the hospital as she could not move anymore after going through back pain for weeks. An MRI revealed that she had breast cancer. Long story short, her breast cancer was treatable by hormone therapy. She had tumors all over and was even recommended radiation by one doctor which she declined. Today, after exactly 18 months, she has been told that “there is no sign of detectable cancer in the body”, a news that we were told we may never hear the doctor saying. The doctor now calls her an outlier. Well, can just one hormone therapy pill a day make this happen? Hard to believe given that even the doctor is stunned. Well, we believe that, it wasn’t that pill but the alternative treatment she was on is the one that actually has made this possible. We are firm believers of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian medicine now gaining it ground again after being dubbed as pseudo science by the western drug mafia. The doctor in India carefully studied her reports and medications she was on and came up with a plan and a cocktail of Ayurvedic medications. The first scan three months later showed that hr cancer had stabilized. The second scan showed that it had reduced somewhat. The third scan and the fourth showed a rapid progress. By the fifth scan, the report no longer had the title “42 year old patient with metastatic breast cancer”. It now read, “42 year old patient with a history of metastatic breast cancer”!!. My wife shared what happened on the day of the 5th scan. During the process of four scans, the technician had become a good friend of hers. She remembers him visibly shaken during her first scan given the amount of tumors he had seen which he of course could not discuss with her. During he 2nd, 3rd and the 4th scan he looked at it as he would look at other scans on a regular basis. After the fifth scan, my wife said he took longer than usual to finish the scan. He looked somewhat worried and puzzled. When she asked him why it took him so long this time, he looked nervous and said he wanted to make sure the sans were captured correctly. My wife was nervous given his reaction and worried that it may not be good news. WhenI heard this,I said to myself, “what if he is puzzled wondering if the scans were captured correctly as he may not have seen any activity on the scan”. I didn’t want to raise my hopes and hers though we want to be positive and optimistic. The next day the doctor seemed very upbeat greeting us, more than ever. Then he said what we were told he may never say, “there is no sign of detectable cancer in the body”. This was such a relief that we both cried out of joy and I still feel like crying every time I think about it. Two things that worked in her favor were that, she refused any kind of radiation and most importantly, iBrance. Though the doctors say most people tolerate it it well, the truth is that it isn’t free of side effects. It is nothing but oral keemo. As my friend who is an oncologist put it, there is really no cure in allopath for cancer. Drugs can only be used to prolong your life. The western countries are slowly starting to chat the mantra the Indians kept saying for centuries, “food is medicine”!. That is the basic principle of Ayurveda. Get your body in sync with the universe and your body will be at ease. When it gets out of sync, your are at dis-ease!!. Ayurveda helps your body restore the balance so that the body can fight back and kill the cancer cells. It does not bombard the body cells blindly like allopath does and damage every single organ in the body. At the end of this bombardment or blind firing, the target might be hit, but ui has caused enough damage to the other parts of the body that you may or may not survive that. Given our own personal experience and first had experiences of many other patients we know, who have lived decades after having told that they should go home and await death, we see hope that this healthy streak will continue. Wanted to share this story in the hope that this might help people who have faith in an alternative treatment. This might help people who have done enough research of their own to realize that western medicine really had no real solution without severe side effects and are wiling to place their fait in a time tested healing power of Ayurveda.

For all Breast Cancer Patients regardless of the state of their treatment, There are two entities I recommend you get consultations from as soon as possible. Staying on top of your options and planning now so you know exactly what you need to do if you relapse (hopefully not), you will save yourself precious time and be able to move right away into the best possible treatment for you. Once you register with these organizations, they will be an ongoing free resource to you to gather transparent information about your treatment options and search for any breakthroughs since your last search.
One is Cancer Commons. Please go to http://www.CancerCommons.org, go to Patients tab, and fill out the ASK form. You could ask them what are your options if you relapse and who are the top docs in your area outside of whom you have already seen. Ask them anything you feel is important. You could ask them what are the odds of staying in remission with the treatment you have had. If you want my input, please ask them to copy eric@weheal.org. I send them many patient and they are used to copying me.
The other is the WeHeal partner Aloha. This is more of an AI search engine to find the most advanced trials. You can register for that free search at link below. You may find clinical trials that monitor patients after Rituxan and keep them informed of the latest advancements, which would be a bonus for you. Who knows. Sure cant hurt to do the searches, and once you are in the Aloha system, they can re-run searches for you anytime!– Remodeling Calgary July 17, 2019
Both services are free and could save your life!

Imperative legislation for those with metastatic disease. Please call your representatives to get this past.
Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act | HR 2178/S 1374The Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act would eliminate waiting periods for disability insurance & Medicare for those with metastatic breast cancer.-
Thank you Gracie! Getting these benefits early will definitely be a bonus for women who are newly diagnosed and need resources to arrange the best possible treatment. It should be immediate! My cancer (ALL) can kill people within days weeks or a few months, yet they made me wait 6 months before benefits would kick in. Didn’t seem right!

Not sure that I feel encouraged or not by this.
Why Aren’t Cancer Drugs Better? The Targets Might Be Wrong – The New York TimesDrugs can stop cancer cells if they attack the right proteins. But many of these targets were chosen with dated, imprecise technology, a new study suggests.-
Thank you Gracie as always for posting these very important articles. Its sad that the US system is so corrupted as so much energy is spent on profitability as opposed to what is best for the patients!

Posted on both Facebook pages!

Both facebook pages? Weheal has two pages now?

Actually always did. We have had the Eric Drew Foundation page for a long time. When the WeHeal name came on board, we launched another one for WeHeal.org so people would find something under both names. Trying to manage social media has been quite a confusing challenge.
