To address your questions Bill, Stanford has a special clinic / initiative for CFS here http://med.stanford.edu/chronicfatiguesyndrome/about.html but the doctor that was running it, Dr. Jose Montoya, was terminated for ethics violations (dating staff or something). I will have to dig deeper to get a name referral. UCSF addresses chroinic fatigue at their Integrative Center (below) I will keep looking for more names in the SF Bay Area
