I have been in a committed relationship for 2 yrs. a month of ago I had a genital herpes breakout. I was confused and wanted to blame my partner, -he ended up testing negative.. I have never cheated on him and so I had to have contracted this before we met. I was going through some extreme stressors so I’m guessing that helped bring on this first outbreak…idk. I’m very hurt that the love of my life has to be subjected to this. To help us strengthen our relationship going forward if he chooses to stay…I wanted to see if there is anyone willing to talk to us about being in a relationship where I’m positive and he’s not. For 2 yrs we’ve been together and he has not contracted it. I just want to know if anyone has had the same experience or could point me to someone willing to talk to us about safety precautions and how we can move forward with our lives.
