      John I relate to those words so much its almost like I wrote them. I definitely feel that upon my diagnosis and for a year after, my providers were not honest with me and gave me treatments that they knew would cause me great harm but had not chance of curing my leukemia.         Eric do you think that maybe the goal was to prolong your life long enough until there was a trial that would work?

          Thank you Gracie! I don’t think they gave it that much thought to be honest. They are under orders to offer specific treatments and not discuss alternatives, so they were always in crisis mode and didn’t have time to advocate for patients.
