Hi everyone. Does anybody know if this blood test to see if someone has Alzheimer’s work? If so, does anyone know where to get the test? I live in San Jose CA. Thanks!
Blood test could detect Alzheimer's up to 16 years before symptoms begin – CNNThe new test looks at a protein found in the blood, that shows brain damage. An increase of this protein indicates brain damage, even before any other symptoms appear.-
Hey Liza! From other literature I read, it seems this blood screening test is still being tested to see how well it correlates with the many types of AD but at this time can not replace current screening methods.
Sorry I don’t have a better resource, the study of AD is in real need of answers!

Thank you so much for your reply. It explains why I haven’t found any place that does the test 🙂 Have a great day!
