      Thank you Gracie for posting this! Many of the women with leukemia that I was treated with, and who subsequently died, were ex-breast cancer patients. It was disgraceful!

      I did because my type of cancer (lobular) has a higher chance of coming back in the other side and it’s also more difficult to detect early. So for piece of mind I chose to do both.

      I think they need to look into behaviors of these women. I know once diagnosed with cancer many women change many things in their life like, quiting smoking, eating organic, cutting out sugar. All these changes could be what is increasing the mortality rate. It certainly couldn’t be surgery and radiation adding longevity. Especially when radiation…[Read more]

      Talking with a fellow BC survivor the other day because a dear friend lost her four year fight with inflammatory breast cancer on Tuesday. She said Breaks my heart.
